Via ferratas are vertical itineraries where you are secured at all times by a steel cable, and where metallic steps, chains, suspension bridges and other components will ensure your safety and help you along the way. Our guides will advise you on how to properly use the equipment so you can overcome all the obstacles that you will encounter.
INITATION LEVEL
Via ferrata Les Gorges de Salenys

Hidden along the Costa Brava (northern coast of Catalonia), this via ferrata will take us along the Salenys gorges. We will go upriver through spectacular suspension bridges which form a simple via ferrata with spectacular charm and perfect for families.

Season: all year.
Duration: 2-3 hours.
Location: Romanyà de la Selva.
Minimum age: 7 years old (minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times).
Equipment required: trekking boots or sports sneakers, comfortable clothing, bicycle gloves (recommended), food and drinks.

Via Ferrata Cala del Molí

Located in the Costa Brava (northern coast of Catalonia) overlooking the Mediterranean, this is the only via ferrata in Europe directly along the coast.
This route consists of two sections: the first starts by the sea and leads us to a little island via suspension bridges; the second stretch has abundant spectacular views.

Season: all year.
Duration: 2-3 hours.
Location: Sant Feliu de Guíxols (Baix Empordà).
Minimum age: 12 years old. (Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times).
Equipment required: trekking boots or sports sneakers, comfortable clothing, bicycle gloves (recommended), food and drinks.

Considered to be one of the longest via ferratas in Catalonia, it is also one of the most complex ones. Requires significant endurance and previous experience. The long itinerary of multiple bulges and rappels makes this via ferrata truly unique.

Duration: 5-6 hours.
Location: Solius (Baix Empordà).
Minimum age: 16 years old. (Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times).
Equipment required: trekking boots or sports sneakers, comfortable clothing, bicycle gloves (recommended), food and drinks.
